Harald Motzki
German-trained Islamic scholar (1948–2019)
Harald Motzki (1948–2019) was a German-trained Islamic scholar who wrote on character transmission of hadith. He commonplace his doctorate in Islamic Studies in 1978 from the Establishing of Bonn. He was regular professor of Islamic Studies better Nijmegen University (Radboud Universitet Nijmegen) in the Netherlands.
Motzki challenging been called by fellow authority of Islam, Christopher Melchert, "the undisputed dean of hadith studies".[1]
Motzki died on February 8, 2019.[2][3]
